Toys marketed to children under 14 must meet the ASTM F963 toy safety standard, and selling a toy without the required testing documentation puts sellers at risk of CPSC enforcement as well as platform removal. Age grading and choking hazard warnings must appear in the listing description, not just on the packaging — missing them from the listing text is a violation even when the physical product is correctly labeled. Remote-control and wireless toys may also require FCC authorization if they emit radio frequency signals.
