Summary
Policy page restructured into Q&A format with no new substantive requirements. Existing cobranding authorization rules, trademark verification procedures, and license expiry consequences restated without material change.
Why it matters
This is a presentation-only reorganization. Sellers already subject to existing cobranding requirements face no new compliance obligations, deadlines, or enforcement consequences from this change. Navigation improved but underlying rules unchanged.
Recommended action
No urgent action required. Review reorganized FAQ format for clarity if your team manages cobranded brand authorizations, but no policy compliance adjustments are necessary.
Trademarks are verified through USPTO. The details in your submission must match the information in the TESS database.
You will lose brand authorization which may result in product takedowns. We recommend reaching out to the licensor to obtain new documentation 30 days before the expected expiry date. The process will be the same as the first application for brand authorization and can be submitted through the Qualification Center.
