Summary
CPSC product recall database content reordering and minor punctuation cleanup. Changes include: removal of glasses recall section, reorganization of recall entries (ATV/Hook-on chairs/Resistance bands sequence reordered), addition of new children's toys recall entry, and minor grammatical fixes (added comma before "posing" in resistance bands description, company name formatting standardization).
Why it matters
This is a government recall database update reflecting CPSC administrative maintenance rather than a policy rule change. The modifications do not establish new seller obligations, listing requirements, or compliance thresholds. Sellers and affiliates are not directly impacted by database reorganization, punctuation edits, or the replacement of one recall entry with another—these are informational updates about which specific products are recalled, not changes to how recall policies are enforced or communicated.
Recommended action
Monitor the CPSC recall database for new product entries relevant to your inventory. If you sell any of the listed recalled products (children's toys with button cell batteries, resistance bands, hook-on chairs, or youth ATVs), immediately delist them and cease sales. No action needed in response to this specific database update structure.
The recalled resistance bands can forcefully separate from the handle during use, posing a risk of serious injury from impact hazard.
The recalled resistance bands can forcefully separate from the handle during use, posing a risk of serious injury from impact hazard.
The recalled glasses violate the mandatory standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because the button cell batteries can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the packaging and product do not have the warnings required under Reese’s Law. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.
Consumers should stop using the recalled glasses immediately, place them in an area where children cannot access them and properly dispose of the batteries. Contact ABC Trading for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to dispose of the glass and send a photo of the product in the trash and email to [email protected].
Note:
Button cell batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.
